What My World's Like

Mustard seed=your faith??

I know I’ve been on a hiatus…gone…absent to most of the world. Well, to put it plainly…it happens sometimes. Perhaps it should happen less than it does. That I’ll do my best is all I can promise. Thus, I promise. My best.

These past few weeks and months, maybe much, much longer, I’ve been struggling with faith. Not struggling over it or with it…just not having it. The other day while visiting someone, I picked up a tiny little book called Have a Little Faith…The Faith of Mustard Seed by Dr. Westina Matthews.

The book opens with a poem by Lauretta Burns called “Broken Dreams” that touched me deeply.

As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God because He was my friend.

But then instead of leaving them with Him in peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help with ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried, ‘How can you be so slow?’
‘My child,’ He said, ‘What could I do? You never did let go’.

And the moral of the story is…let go and let God! (Whatever that means to you…I think we can all agree to a power infinitely more powerful and intelligent than us.)

That’s what I’m working with right now. I’ll let you watch how it turns out. 😉

The same faith needed for a headache is the same needed for cancer, wao! So easy yet so hard to believe. But that is the God for you.

  2. fsith is more than a tool used for acquiring or recieving things, it is the element which substantiates the realities of life. It is the organ by which we engage the the world of non optical senses,it is an organ of knowledge and vision.it is possible to get healing through aclaimed faith but without faith it is impossible to please God.

  3. I had been looking at Dr.Myle Monroe talking about the mustard seed I wanted to know what it look like .I just stared at it because it just amazing how we are so suppose to have our faith like
