While we're on the topic, let's talk about the fact that eyelid surgery is the most popular plastic surgery procedure in the world (to make asian eyes look more caucasian)...or let's talk about the popularity of the naturally unattainable media standard of beauty in the form of "browned" skin, blonde hair, light eyes, and a curvy but diminutive frame. Seriously people. Stop breeding. Start teaching. The lasting effects of colonialism. This is one of those instances where marketing needed to get something out and there wasn't anyone at the table who could trust their own instincts and ask a vital question, such as 'what is this SUPPOSED to be?' or it once again proves that most major companies play on the complacency or simplistic mindsets of the people. As a writer, there was a story line, but all elements that we see are not necessary; for instance, what does ponds, no matter what version, have to do with a person obviously being given a symbol of committment, only to find out that someone you know takes great pleasure in showing you he has been married, and you see him walking down the street, quite happy with his new wife while you are still wearing the sign of commitment around your neck?
