Doing the unexpected

Today, I read a story that really touched me.  A tug on my heart, a tear in my eye…

What’s the strangest thing that can happen to a team of football players no one cares about?

Reading this story makes me think about some things I can do that are totally unexpected and the joy they can bring…even something as small as waiting a few extra seconds to hold the door open for someone.  I know I appreciate it.  Makes me feel good, if only for a minute. It’s always been the small things in life that matter the most. Always was, always will be.  A hi.  A hug.  Acknowledgment.
