To quote one of you callers, “To each his own.” Good meaningful discussion about sex and its power in our society. I disagree with Sakiya about his approach to different sexual situations (wild dude), yet I do agree with what he said about channeling energy. Using that energy for positive activity can be a good thing.
Back to his education comments. Inner city children come with so much more on their shoulders (more @ home and environment) than most students. You made great points, Leandra. Their failure is not the sole responsibility of the teacher, as Sakiya seems to think. To teach the inner city child requires so much more of a teacher. To simply replace teachers for their students’ failure is the wrong approach. I appreciate the fact that Sakiya will fight for my right to speak my mind, even if I’m wrong. LOL.
