[...] How To Use Your Prostitute (Yes you have one regardless of your sex) Don’t judge an article by its title…It’s not what you think it is. The article is a personal reflection of the author’s life. She explains how odd it is that most of us spend much of our youth trying to fit “in” instead of distinguishing ourselves by following our dreams, sharing our thoughts, and discovering our passions. In short she makes you think… Do you have a life you haven’t lived? The article reminds me of this quote: [...]

The words in your posts remind me that being true to oneself is really the only path to real freedom. Many of us have worn the mask so long that we really believe this illusion of security is worth giving away our time, money, intellect, integrity, word, and self. These precious commodities will be traded regardless of what or whom. But you brought it home for me when you said: "The key is to make it work for you."

Yeah. My prostitute felt that one.

I really liked this and it so was not what I thought it was going to be. I agree with it all, we as people have to accepting of who we are and not what people want us to be or was is deemed to be "normal". Just think how much better a place the world would be if we were just happy in our skin and happy with who we were instead of trying to be where someone else is or impressing others.

My pastor had touched on this subject about how ppl desire what others have or wish they were in someone else's situation but the reality of that is 1. you don't know what they did to get there 2. you don't know the reality of their situation like if they are actually happy. Image is everything and people are always putting on a show and in my 28 years of living I have just been able to actually accept me for me with in the past year and I love it! I'm not 100% there but I'm pretty sure I'm moving in the right direction :)
